Each of the 12 months of the year has an official gemstone assigned to it, which may be the same as the Zodiac sign for that month, or there may be some variation. January – Garnet

Most garnets are red or deep orange in color, but it is possible to find Garnets in shades of pink, yellow, green, brown, and black.
